A network of affiliated American super-PACs—Fairshake, Protect Progress and Defend American Jobs—that advocates for the cryptocurrency industry. All three were founded between the 2020 and 2024 presidential elections. With $260m in receipts during the 2024 electoral cycle, Fairshake was the largest non-partisan super-PAC of any kind. The network spent over $130m in the run-up to the 2024 elections, making it among the highest spenders of the campaign.
Ripple and Coinbase are the biggest corporate donors; Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz of Andreessen Horowitz are the largest individual contributors. Fairshake had $116m in cash on hand for the 2026 midterm elections.
Rather than stress candidates' views on crypto, Fairshake runs ads on any issue that may boost favoured politicians or hinder those it dislikes. It helped secure the defeat of Katie Porter, a Democratic congresswoman, in California's Senate primary. Its strategy, according to spokesman Josh Vlasto, is to "support supporters, and oppose opponents".
