America's third-largest gaming company, whose franchises include "Madden", "The Sims", "Battlefield" and "FC" (the football series formerly known as "FIFA"). The company is led by Andrew Wilson.
In September 2025 a consortium led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake (a private-equity firm) and Affinity Partners (an investment company founded by Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law) agreed to take the company private for $55bn—the biggest leveraged buy-out ever. The consortium also includes Jared Kushner, who has since helped broker the Gaza peace deal. Investors doubt that the buy-out will face many regulatory hurdles.
