Kyriakos Mitsotakis has been prime minister of Greece since 2019. On taking office he gave a very strong mandate to his digital minister, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, enabling Greece's digital public services to rise from among the worst in Europe to about average between 2018 and 2024.
